We stopped here today for a coffee and had a great visit. We ordered coffee and hot chocolate with a piece of raspberry and lemon cake which was excellent. There were plenty of staff on duty who were friendly, efficient and helpful. Thorough enjoyed our brief visit and will definitely be back again. Thank you

Stayed for my friends wedding and the "family" room was more like a penthouse. Absolutely stunning spacious room overlooking the clock tower courtyard, and there was only a classic car show on when we woke up! Making the exceptional view even more exceptional. Quite reasonably priced too. My partner was disappointed she didn't get to take a bath but we had to go and help clear the wedding celebrations away. Hopefully we'll get to stay again soon. Thank you.

Came for a 2 night stay. Staff are wonderful. Had a meal at Fern restaurant and the food was amazing, all local produce with lots of vegetarian and vegan options. Definitely would recommend this lovely hotel.

Room - Fabulous Food - Delicious Service - Excellent Short 3 night stay - cannot recommend this place highly enough. In a word - Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious (for meaning, google or watch Mary Poppins). The family room was excellent - spacious and had everything including space which is something that as parents with an adult daughter with learning disabilities is all too often sadly missing. Add to that, the staff were all great with her (and us). Loved the area and did we say the accommodation was first class? s So, rest assured, we will be back! Thank you for an excellent stay.

I was lucky enough to be a supplier at a wedding at this venue. The venue itself is great with some lovely areas for the wedding guests to mingle. The staff were so helpful and friendly and I could see they were going to lengths to make sure the couple's day went smoothly. A special thank you to Lily who was super helpful both before the event and on the day and made me feel so welcome as a supplier at the hotel.

Good value hotel, well placed in the town. Quite a small car park but they reimburse cost of P&D next door. All of the staff (and there are plenty of them) were clearly well trained and very attentive at all times. Check in staff were very welcoming and efficient and helped with our luggage. We dined in the hotel both nights and had an enjoyable meal each time. The menu wasn't that extensive, but food good. Breakfast is freshly cooked to order not the usual buffet bun fight. Room was very comfortable with all usual features. Very comfortable bed with loads of pillows. Shower very good indeed. Altogether a very good stay.

The Falcon Hotel is my parents' favorite place to stay when they visit me and my family, and this past weekend's visit was particularly special. My son, who always stays at the hotel with his grandparents, was celebrating his birthday. After returning to their room on Saturday evening, they were absolutely delighted to find that the staff had left a plate of cakes as a birthday surprise. It's thoughtful actions like this that truly set the Falcon apart. The staff here are consistently professional and attentive, and it's clear that they genuinely care about their guests. My parents absolutely love it, and I can see why. I often join them for breakfast the next morning, and it is superb every single time. In an age where good customer service can be hard to find, the team at the Falcon nails it every time. Thank you for making my son's birthday so memorable and for taking such wonderful care of my parents.

The rooms in the hotel are returned to a high spec. However we stayed in the Apple Suite, white was lovely but was in need of updating. In particular the rooms were really light early in the morning and the blackout curtains needed a surround to stop the light coming in which would enable a better night's sleep. But overall the hotel is lovely, staff are attentive and the food is excellent.

A travelzoo deal brought us to the Falcon Hotel and the Rutland district. This was a part of the world I knew nothing about until now. The hotel has a history dating back centuries and the renovations and updating have been carried out really tastefully. The service throughout our stay has been first class and a big shout out on the quality of the breakfast offering. *****star. The main lounge, restaurant, and reception area is very nice with a very relaxed atmosphere ideal for late evening drinks. There is ample on-site car parking and the outdoor areas are brilliant you will just need good weather to enjoy them. All in all quite a little gem. We returned for our second visit and were as suitably impressed as we were on our original visit. All the plaudits remain the same but the hotel has added a new restaurant the 'Fern'. It is brilliant, the theme is that of a sharing menu with small plates. May I say they are delicious. We dined here both nights having originally planned to dine out. A big well done to the management on this addition.
